WAAS Establishes China Collaborative Laboratory for Cereal Crop Research

The World Agricultural Academy of Sciences (WAAS) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangdong Haina Agricultural Research Institute to jointly establish the WAAS China Collaborative Laboratory for Cereal Crop Research. The laboratory marks a significant milestone in WAAS's global research layout and regional collaborative innovation of cereal crops.
The research scope covers genetic improvement and precision breeding of cereal crops, green prevention and control of crop diseases and pests, efficient ecological cultivation technologies, sustainable agricultural planting models, as well as nutritional optimization and intensive processing technologies for cereal crops.

Shinong Linghang Technology R&D (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a Chinese domestic commercial enterprise invested by the World Academy of Agricultural Sciences (WAAS). It is not a resident representative office of WAAS registered in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Activities of Overseas Non-Governmental Organizations within Chinese Territory. The Company only provides commercial services such as technology development, consultation and business undertaking within the scope permitted by its business license. It shall not conduct overseas NGO-related activities including non-profit academic reviews, award conferrals and public-welfare projects on behalf of the overseas-based WAAS. All non-profit academic decisions and honor conferrals relating to WAAS are independently made by the overseas-based WAAS. The Company may provide commercial-nature execution support only.
